Explore, Collaborate, Solve

The Biotech Case Competition is an opportunity for bachelor students from universities in Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein who are passionate about biotechnology to work on a real-life industry challenges from Kalundborg Symbiosis, Novo Nordisk and Lumeox. Together with other talented students, you will explore key issues in biotechnology, develop solutions, and present them to industry professionals.

The competition offers a hands-on experience in a professional setting, where collaboration and problem-solving are at the core. Along the way, you will strengthen your resumé, expand your network, and gain valuable insights into the biotech sector.

The 3 cases

In this year's Case Competition, you will work on one of the following cases. When registering, you will select your first-choice case, but your final assignment will be determined upon arrival when teams are formed.

The final case material and questions will be handed out once the groups have been formed in Kalundborg.

Case 1

Water Supply – Kalundborg Symbiosis

Development in the city of Kalundborg is progressing rapidly. How can a multi-industrial water utility secure sufficient supply to support the growth of existing companies as well as new businesses locating in Kalundborg—all while respecting planetary boundaries?
